Cytokinesis is the physical process of cell division, which divides the cytoplasm of a parental cell into two daughter cells. Imagining this process in paint and through digital manipulation, I used microscopic images of cells and microorganisms, scanned images of paper that I marbled, and maps, to create fractal imagery and broken fractals as imagined to the sound of specific pieces of music.
